ABSTRACT
The role of
elementary school English teachers in English reading classes is crucial for
the development of students' reading abilities. Teachers are responsible for
guiding students through various reading materials, helping them to comprehend
and analyze texts, and encouraging them to engage with the material through
discussion and reflection. Additionally, teachers play a key role in assessing
students' reading progress and providing feedback that will help them improve
their skills. Overall, English teachers in elementary school reading classes
act as facilitators, mentors, and evaluators, guiding students towards becoming
proficient readers.
